While Career Services strives to ensure that jobs posted on its web site represent true and accurate employment opportunities, it is the student’s/alumnus’ responsibility to verify legitimacy of employment opportunities before responding to, interviewing for or accepting positions. It is the student’s/alumnus’ responsibility for obtaining necessary information concerning the employer.
Career Services expects employers who use its services to adhere to Employment Standards and Ontario and Human Rights Legislation, as outlined with the Ontario Ministry of Labour and Seneca College's Discrimination and Harrassment Policies and Procedures in their recruitment and employment practices.
Employers, students and alumni are expected to follow the Guidelines for Ethical Recruitment at Post-Secondary Institutions as outlined by CACEE and Seneca College's IT Acceptable Use Policy.
